Someone got their ears pierced

We took Rian to the mall again today, but today it was for getting her ears pierced. I was kind of worried about getting them done, but we got there filled out the paperwork and got in the chair. The lady marked Rian's ears and we were getting started. The lady did the first ear and Rian let out a loud cry, but when she went to the other side to do the other ear, she just turned her head and got it done. She did a little whimper, but other than that she was ok. I have to say that she was a trooper again. No more shots until 4 months.

SHOTS!!!!

Yesterday Rian got her first set of shots. I have to say that she was a true trooper with them. She got a shot in each of her little fat thighs. She let out 2 loud screams one with each shot. When it was over she had already stopped crying. I was so proud of her! I decided that since she did such a great job with the shots that I would go ahead and get her ears pierced on the next day.

2 months!

Rian is 2 months old and my gosh these past 8 weeks have sure flown by. She is growing fast and doing more. She is holding eye contact with you and when you smile at her, she will smile back. I also think that she is teething, because she is drooling a lot and she like to rub the nipple on the bottle on her bottom gums. Brian and I can't wait for her 2 month check up on today. I really want to see how much she weighs now, because this little girl can eat.

7 Weeks....

It has been 7 fantastic weeks since little Rian came into our lives. She is such an awesome little girl and there is never a dull moment. She has a tiny little cold and I feel so sad for her, because there is nothing that we can give her to make her feel better. All we can do is love her and she is getting lots of that.

She is finally sleeping in her own little crib, I am so proud of her for doing that. I think that it has been harder for me than it is for her.

My baby girl is starting to do more Cooing and it is so beautiful. I love to just sit and hold her and have little conversations with her. Everyday is amazing, she is always up to something new.

Easter Easter!!

Rian had a pretty good Easter. We spent part of the morning over at the ER on Base, because I thought that she had Pink Eye. Well it turned out to be that they say her tear duct in that eye is closed and I need to use warm water and a rag to open it back up. We came home from the Dr and got started on our dish to take over to Leslie and Jeremy's house. And that is where we went for Easter. She had a good day hanging out with her other family.

First Road Trip!!!

So...On yesterday Friday, April 2nd 2010. Rian Ella took her first road trip. We went to visit her Great Grandparents. I decided that she really needed to see them while she was still young and small. We only went for a couple of hours, but it was well worth it. Her great grandmother was so happy and that makes me so happy to know that. Rian did so well on the ride down there and the ride back. We enjoyed the ride so much that we took a little stroll to the southern part of GA on today Saturday, April 3rd, 2010.
